How to Get Here
By car
Sorrento can be reached from Naples by taking the motorway (A3) ” Salerno – Reggio Calabria”. Once in the motorway, take the exit for Castellamare di Stabia, which is located north of the Sorrento Peninsula and follow the road sign for Sorrento through the “Statale 145”. Keep following the road signs that will lead you directly to SorrentoBy train
from Naples central station you can take the Circumvesuviana (commuter train) which the last stop will be Sorrento. The trip lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes and runs every 20-30 minutes also along the most famous and visited archaeological sites such as Pompeii and Herculaneum.By airplane
The international airport near to Sorrento is Capodichino (Naples) and stays 50 km away from Sorrento.By boat
Naples offers a wide choice of connections by sea with ferries, hydrofoils and steamers through which you can reach both the Sorrento Peninsula and the main islands such as Capri, Ischia and Procida and the picturesque Amalfi Coast as well.
